How it works

  1. Add the people you keep leaving on read — A name is enough. You are tracking a relationship, not importing a chat history.

Frequently asked questions

Does Gravity read my messages to know if I replied?

No. It has no access to your messages on any platform, and does not ask for any. You tell it you reached out by tapping once. That is the trade for it not reading anything.

Then how does it know I have not replied?

It does not, strictly. It knows when you last told it you were in touch with that person. In practice that works, because the moment you do reply you mark it logged and the timer resets.

Is this just a to-do list?

A to-do list makes you write the item. Gravity generates it, because it already knows how long it has been and who is furthest past their rhythm. The whole point is not having to remember to remember.

What about people I message every day?

Do not add them. Gravity is for the relationships that go quiet without anyone deciding to let them, not the ones already in daily contact.
